Saint Francis University Library

For Users With Disabilities

To create a more inclusive environment for learning, the Library has implemented effective measures to accommodate the specific needs of users with disabilities.  For example, the aisles between shelves are wide enough for the physically disadvantaged users to move around.  The Library staff are pleased to help users with disabilities access the computer facilities and to fetch materials for them from bookshelves.

Reserved Area for Special Education Needs (SEN) Users

In order to cater for users with special education needs (SEN), a specific area adjacent to the CBCC Library counter has been reserved for their use. Their electronic devices can be connected to the external adaptors on a motor standing desk, the height of which can be adjusted electrically according to their needs.
