Eligible Participants

  1. This survey is open to all current CIHE/CBCC/CAPS students and staff;
  2. External members including Alumni with valid Library cards are also welcome to participate except the Corporate members with Readers’ cards;
  3. This is an anonymous survey. No personal information will be collected;
  4. If you are interested in entering the Lucky Draw, please provide your contact information (i.e. Student/Staff ID, name, email address and phone number) at the end of the survey. This information will only be used for purposes related to the Lucky Draw.
  5. The results of the Lucky Draw will not be affected by your answers and written comments.

Lucky Draw

  1. Each participant is suggested to take the survey only ONCE. Multiple entries of the same participant will only be counted ONCE;
  2. Prizes will be drawn in mid-2023. The Lucky Draw results will be posted on the Library website and all winners will be contacted individually by email. The Library is NOT liable for any non-delivery or non-receipt of email(s) by the winners;
  3. Late redemption will NOT be entertained. All prizes are NOT transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash;
  4. Authorization of other persons to collect the prize on your behalf will NOT be accepted;
  5. The Library is NOT liable for any cost or damage relating to or resulting from the acceptance and/or use of the above prizes by the participants;
  6. NO warranty or maintenance service will be provided;
  7. The Library reserves the right of final decision on all matters in case of any disputes.

Please be assured that answers, comments and contact information given by you in the survey will be treated in strict confidence. The Library will collate and analyze the collected data and will post the survey report on its website for users’ reference.

The following newly subscribed e-databases supporting learning, teaching and research are now available for access.

It contains all sorts of health information, including anatomy and physiology, physical examination as well as diseases and disorders, supplemented with medical dictionary, drug guides and clinical calculators.

OECD iLibrary e-database

Managed by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), it provides more than 20,000 full-text publications and resources including e-books, journals, podcasts, statistics and reports on a wide variety of economic and social topics around the globe.

Chinamaxx Digital Libraries 中文集献 e-books

It is a vast collection of about 705,000 Chinese e-book titles in a wide range of subjects, such as history, literature, social sciences, economy, art, religion, medicine and health.

Elsevier Business Management and Accounting Collection e-journals

It contains over 100 full-text academic journals in the subject areas of business, management and accounting, including topics in marketing, tourism and hospitality management.
