The Reserve Collection houses materials in great demand. These materials include books, articles, project papers and supplementary kits recommended by academic staff for course reading purposes. Most books suggested as principal readings and student project papers are NOT for loan. But some of the materials in the Collection can be checked out for a short period of time, depending on the loan rules set by the Library. All these materials can be browsed here.
Principal readings are major texts designated by academic staff in the course syllabuses for study purpose. These texts are of particular importance as they are the key resources that support students’ learning in the courses.
Student Project Papers
Student project papers are written reports of the projects conducted by students of different schools / departments in their final year. Those papers recommended by academic staff would be kept in the Library for users’ reference. Users can browse the full list of the titles here and request for the project papers at the Circulation Counter.
Academic staff are most welcome to place teaching materials in the Collection for a designated period by filling out the Reserve Collection Recommendation Form and return it to the Circulation Counter.
